JS Class 2-8-2 JS 8233, was built at Datong in 1987 and had worked on China Rail round the Shenyang area until October 1990, it then went to Tonghua for its last years of service. JS 8233 today is preserved and is located on display the Da’an Locomotive Expo Park at Da’an Bei in Jilin, Northeast China.
