Caliban was built by Peckett & sons. Not Andrew Barclay. It is now under overhaul by the Furness Railway Trust, at Ribble Steam Rly Preston.

The two main parts of the loco are visible from passing trains. The frames and boiler are behind the fence at the south end of the Carnforth Site. They been there a few years now. I can supply photos if required

The loco is at Carnforth, though dismantled and the pieces all over the large site. When I asked about the loco I was told that the frames were in the undergrowth and I'd need a machete to seen them (Strangeley, I didn't have one with me!)

I think I may have found the cab and saddle tank, but there was nothing to identify them. In fact, the only bit I could positively say was connected with 'Caliban' was the dome cover - with the loco's name chalked on it.
