The ownership of ex War Department Light Railways Baildwin built 4-6-0T No. 794 has been has been permanently transferred from its previous owners the Imperial War Museum into the ownership of the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway at Porthmadog. The locomotive was on long term loan to the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway from the Imperial War Museum but following continuing review of its collections alongside further consultation from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport it was felt that the Welsh Highland Heritage Railway would make the most appropriate long-term home for the locomotive.
