Far as I know the 5ft gauge former Finnish Railways wood burning 2-8-0 No. 1151 is at a site that sells Timber in St Albans. The locomotive is in working order or was as it ran for a short time at the Epping Ongar Railway on a short stretch of 5ft gauge track at Ongar.

VR number 1151 was not built in Finland. It was one of 20 of the class built by Frichs in Aahus, Denmark as a contribution to war reparations. It has also moved away from Ongar.

The Epping - Ongar branch is a preserved section of the London Underground system (All distances on the underground are measured form Ongar - point 0 Km) It is standard gauge but there was a proposal to operate the Finnish locos on a stretch of 5 foot gauge track there. Changes in the ownership of the share capital of the project has meant that some of the locos mentioned in the previous note will be removed, possibly sold. I'll update the site as and when information is available to me.

When I visited Ongar on 25/5/07 1171 (by the way I understand it is class Tk3) was locked away but there were four other V.R. locos on show: Tk3 1134 2-8-0 Hr1 1008 4-6-2 Tr1 1060 4-8-2 Vr1 794 0-6-0T I have no other data on them but if you want them I have some images I can send.
