As Phil. has previously stated, this locomotive was actually built by BMAG -Scharzkopff (Berlin) as their No. 8292/1923. It remained in Sibiu in 1996.

CFF No. 764.106 at the was built in Germany by Scharzkopff in 1923. The design become standard in Romania and large numbers were built at the Resita works after WW2
