A locomotive with a much travelled international history, joining PKP-A as No. Tr21-84, with the same NKPS number from 1939. It became DRB No. 56 4025 only in 1944, extended to the ÖBB in 1945. It was again with the NKPS in 1947, re-joining the PKP, presumeably as No.Tr21-53, at Czestochowa in 1963. A decade later it was at Fosowskie, outside Opole, where it was withdrawn, but it took a further ten years before being exhibited at the Railway Museum in Warsaw.
