I believe that the two engines on the Thistlegorm are WD 428 (BP 7008 of 1940/1) and WD 429 (BP 7009 of 1940/1)

Front end of frames, smokebox, cowcatcher, complete buffer beam, both cylinders, leading wheels and the first pair of driving wheels remain. It is located thirty meters below the surface on the port (left) side near Hold No.3 of the ship. The tender remains on the ships deck also on the port side intact with the collapsed mast over it. It can be identified as its smokebox door is NOT open but remains indeed closed.

Has rotted away to just a smoke box and part of frames.
