According to Railroads of Nevada & Eastern California by David Myrick This engine operated on the Golconda & Adelaide RR in Golconda, NV prior to being sold to the NSL in 1914.

It also served on the Nevada Central later on, but I don't remember what its number was there.  It and the "Sonoma" #12 at the CSRM from the North Pacific Coast were both on the Nevada Central and acquired and operated in the Bay Area as part of the Treasure Island World's Fair in 1939/40.  The Sonoma held a different number at the Nevada Central as well.  Nevada Central #2, "Sidney Dillon", is the Grizzly Flats "Emma Nevada" which Ward Kimball rescued from scrap in the 30s.
