Further information suggests that the Class 35 locomotive formerly at Kaspican was No. 35.01, previously No. 2001. As well as in 1911, there was an additional renumbering BDZ locomotives prior to WW2; small wonder of the later confusion! However, only No. 35.05 of this class now remains.

The loommotive was constructed by Hanomag as No. 7879 in 1916 and initially became Bulgarian State Railways No. 2018, before being renumbered in 1936 to 36.18

ILFORD reports no record of this loco exists.

The locomotive depicted in the Primary photograph is actually BDZ No. 35.05 NOT 35.18. Location unknown
