BDZ No. 18.01 2-8-2 was originally No. 801 supplied by Henschel & Sohn, Kassel as 11630/1912. Following a minor accident, it was rebuilt in Sofia who then gave it re-construction No. 73 of 1928, also attaining the Bulgarian Railways number of 8.001 until 1935 whence it became BDZ No. 18.01.

This is Henschel 11630 of 1912 as rebuilt in 1928.
