The "Alco-Montreal Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 54469 through 54471 were built for "Stock", to be sold at a later date. All of the units were 0-4-0T's and had a "Specified" total weight of 89,000 pounds. The Cylinders were 16" x 24". Construction Number 54471, Road Number 3, was shipped to "Lake Superior Paper Co. Ltd." during May of 1916.
