The "Alco-Montreal Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 49495 through 49500 were built for "Stock", to be sold at a later date. These six units were shipped to six different companies during the May 1911 through April 1912 time period. This unit, Construction Number 49495, Road Number 8, was shipped to "Cavicci & Pagano" during May of 1911. It's Cylinders were 13" x 18".
