Jim Keith and I now believe that this engine was either c/n 450 or 451 built for Edgar Thomson Steel in 8/1881 or 9/1881. It was one of two engines purchased by American Rolling Mill Company (ARMCO) in 1907 to replace mule power. It was retired in 1937 and moved to Carillon Park in 1990.

With the completion of the new Transportation Building, the Armco narrow gauger is the only piece of railroad equipment left outdoors.
