It took a full year, but the rest of the engine has now been moved. The last section was moved on 1/11/08. I was there to see the 20 ton chassis fly over a barn. It was sold about a year ago to a private individual who wishes to restore it for his personal pleasure. If the boiler barrel appears usable after removing the lagging, that might mean it could steam again someday. It is now in four pieces, located between some outbuildings across the street from the First Baptist Church on Ohio State Route 125, just west of Amelia, Ohio. A LOT of work still lies ahead.

Over the Christmas-New Year break, the cab and saddletank were removed for cosmetic restoration.

Here is a picture when the train was first brought to the playfield.

Oops, make that "cosmetic restoration", not "cosmetic operation".

Park District was going to scrap this engine but put it out to "auction" instead. Doug Master bought it for one dollar and moved it next to his recycling business which is located in the old Oakley Station. Long term plans are for cosmetic operation (last I heard, anyhow). It was moved from Lunken Airport around 2001.
