The North British Locomotive Preservation Group newsletter for April 2023 reports that the museum at Klerksdorp has closed and the exhibits are abandoned. In the case of this loco, the cab fittings and some of the valve gear has been stolen. it stands with the smokebox door wide open. What a shame.
