Supposedly this locomotive has a new owner and is located somewhere in Georgia.

This locomotive is listed as operational, yet the photo used for its entry shows a boiler in a gondola. The last time I was there (2013), I saw it in much the same position. I really doubt that she has been restored in the interval.

The description of this engine seems to be very close to the 0-4-2T in a gondola at the museum in Bellevue, OH, except that it is a hulk and a long way from operational.

I looked up the following with verizon online yellow pages, I might call to find out more and would be glad to know what others find out:

Mason Machine Shop
RR 19, Clarksburg, WV 26301

Interesting conversation with an employee of Mason Machine Shop in Clarksburg, WV confirms the presence of this locomotive "out back" and that it is operated occassionally in the summer.

Database has been updated to show the locomotive as operational.
