This loco went from the B&S to the Soo Line the same year she was built after less than a month on the B&S. After that the B&S kept a small engine policy with nothing larger than E-60 consolidations.

I remember when seeing Soo Line's Steam Engine #950 sitting on Hwy 2, (Front Street now called Lakeshore Drive), behind a chain link fence. Also seeing the oredock in use as well. I have a photo showing where this steam engine was parked at after the move.

The locomotive has been moved and is no longer by Hwy.2 and the ore dock trestle. The shelter shown is right across the street from the former Soo Line depot in downtown Ashland.
