This engine is back in service on the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad and is lettered as Crossett Western #10.

Although in operational condition the locomotive has not been run for a couple of years. It is currently stored, and is for sale.

The locomotive is operating on the Chelatchie Prairie as Crossett Western Co. No. 10.

Locomotive has been completed restored and pulled the railroad's Santa trains in December '06. Should be under steam pulling the regular trains this summer.

The "Alco-Brooks Construction Number List" indicates that this unit was the LAST LOCOMOTIVE BUILT and the NEXT to LAST PIECE of EQUIPMENT BUILT by the "Brooks Works" (The last piece of equipment built was a "Southern Pacific" 12' snow plow).

This locomotive has been leased to the Battleground, Yacolt & Chelatchie Prarie RR in Chelatchie, WA.  It was moved to their shops early this year (2003) and is being restored for use on this tourist railroad.
