The engine has to be changed from VMT, to Ohio Central, as we do not own, or have this locomotive anymore.

The move was a great sucsess. She was moved to the East End Shops instead of Shaffers Crossing.

A tentative date for the 763's move to OHCR is July 24th. It should be moved to NS's Shaffers Crossing yards for inspection.

She is in just terrible shape. I wish the museum would do something with her other than scrapping her.

A visit in April 2004 found the 763 under roof along with N&W 611, 1218 and the 2-8-0 plus the VGN 0-8-0.  There is at least one saddletanker outdoors.

A correct headlight and front number plate were installed on the 763 in April 2004.

Photos on Trainorders.com dated about June 20, 2003 show that NKP 763 was moved under the new shelter at VMT, Roanoke, recently.  She's finally out of the weather after 40 years.  Apparently all their steam locomotives are now under cover.
