As of February, 2014 this is the only operational steam locomotive in the State of Virginia.

The Richmond Railroad museum is owned and operated by the Old Dominion Chapter of the NRHS. They also own quite a few pieces of historic rail equipment which they keep at a yard in Midlothian V.A.

This locomotive was in steam on 9/11/10. They used it to move a few cars around in the yard to make for a better display.
