1223 was the locomotive featured in the movie version of Hello Dolly.

The locomotive became the property of the Railroad Museum of PA 12/1979 and it has retained ownership since that time. It leased it to the Strasburg for a period of time, then became inoperable and the lease was terminated. She was never "Sold" to anyone after 1979.

This locomotive was sold back to the RR Museum of Pennsylvania in 1990.
