Sorry about the mix up. As I started to say David Spohr inspected the locomotive at Fort Bragg, CA last week end and found the Baldwin class number for C/N 5009 stamped in several place on the engine. Baldwin C/N 5009 was built as #2 for the Market Street Ry of San Francisco. It then went to the Navarro Mill Co. of Navarro, CA. It was sold to the Glen Blair Redwood Co. as their #3 in about 1910. From 1925 to 1949 it sat out of service at Glen Blair. In 1949 the Union Lbr. Co. moved it to display in Fort Bragg. Dave has put a lot of work into this project and deserves a big vote of thanks.

Hi, The Navaro Mill #1 is not a Rix & Firth locomotive. It is a Baldwin street railway dummy. A friend is going up to Fort Bragg next week in an effort to make poitive identification.
