This loco is now owned and being overhauled by VSM at Apeldoorn. A tender is already available. In the heading it should read DB(DRG) for it is a West German rebuilt class 41.

Delivered to the DRB at the start of WW2 as No. 41 241; It continued service in 1948 with the newly created DB of West Germany in the same identity until being compterised around 1970 as No. 042 241-8, and withdrawn from Bw Rheine in 1977, initially going to the Werke Museum, Nuernberg followed by display at Bw Gelsenkirchen-Bismarck. In 1990 it went to the BSW group, Oberhausen, later spending some years (1991-1998) at Raw Meiningen before going to Beekbergen.
