Overnight on the 19th January 2023 there was a fire in the depot at Schaffhausen leading to the two fireless locos being damaged. photos from the aftermath show them outside the depot with fire damage to the upper surfaces of the pressure vessel and the cab. Their future is uncertain.

Originally VEB Chemiekombinat Bitterfeld, BT Wolfen No. 13, later RBB 13. In 1997 it went via Stadt Düsseldorf to Akzo-Nobel at Heinsberg-Oberbruch as their No. 2 where it worked until 2007 and, in 2009 went to DLM, Winterthur, Switzerland for renovation.
