Operational-watched it pull a combine freight/passenger consist today 1 September 2014 called the Anthracite Special. Got a few pictures as well. Apparently the shed for the Reading and Northern is also home to ex-Reading 2102.

the 425 is operating again but the headlight is on the smolebox door instead of on top of it when i saw the lastest pictures of it and it looked better that the headlight was on the top of the smokebox.

The "Blue Mountain & Reading R.R." no longer exists and has not existed since June of 1995.  The railroad should be changed to Reading Blue Mountain And Northern and/or Reading And Northern. The location should be switched to Port Clinton, PA.  And most importantly, the status should be changed to operational!

This locomotive is now operational, made its first run in 11 years on 12.29.07 and there are several trips planned for her in 2008.

The FOUR AND A QUARTER was fired and ran on December 29, 2007.  What a great day at the Reading and Northern Railroad when the first blast of the whistle was pulled.  This locomotive had extensive work done to it.  The locomotive and tender is still painted blue.  The Status should be changed to OPPERATIONAL!!
