Although built by Beyer Peacock in Manchester for South Australian Railways, it was sold on to West Australian Jarrah Forest Company in 1927. It was working until 1957 at the Adelaide Timber Company mill at East Witchcliffe.

The tender is not the original which was in too poor a condition to be restored. This is from a Western Australian Government Railways loco, modified to look appropriate. In particular the tender cowcatcher is typical of a loco that spent a good deal of time running tender first.
