The Russian information about the L-2500: Production site: Kharkov Locomotive Plant [Russia] Serial number: 2600 Built:1917 Delivered to the Evstratovka depot of the Southeastern Railway. Transferred to the Petropavlovsk depot of the Omsk Railway in the 30s. Later - transferred to the Borovoe Resort depot; Later - transferred to the Sarygol depot of the Stalin Railway; Later - transferred to the Dzhankoy depot. In the early 30s at the Kochetovka depot. Moved to the Murom depot in the mid-30s Handed over to the Western Railway in 1944. Handed over to the Stalin Railway in 1946. Retired in 1985 and erected as a monument in Pyatikhatki. Location: 48.41850572518067, 33.74714002475798

It stood in Odessa as a heating locomotive at the "Tsentrolit" plant until the 2000s. Whereabouts unknown.

Built at the Kharkov factory for the Yekaterininskaya Railway as Lh.950 In 1912 it received the number Ov/x.950 Renumbered in 1914 to Ov.3818. Since 1927 in the Ukrainian SSR, in the 30s. worked at the Nikitovka depot. From 1937 to 1941 he worked at the Vladimir depot. Installed in Odessa in 1973 with a model of an armored train.

During the Second World War as part of the 53rd and 16th OZHDB of the Black Sea Fleet At the end of the 40s it was transferred to the Leningrad-Sort.-Vitebsky depot Transferred to the Stalinskaya Railway (Pridneprovskaya) at the end of the 50s. Erected as a monument in the Melitopol depot in 1984.

A situação desta locomotiva é de outra que se encontram na Fazenda Ipanema - IBAMA/FLONA é lamentável, pois estão desprotegidas e em estado de degradação. Há necessidade urgente de restauro e preservação. Recentemente fix uma maquete em papel dessa locomotiva. Mais informações contate-me.

After its festive visit to the the Kent & East Sussex Railway, BR Standard 2MT 2-6-0 No. 78019, will visit the Spa Valley Railway for their Winter Steam Gala from the 9th to the 11th of February 2024, afterwards the locomotive will operate for a futher two weekends at the Spa Valley, including one alongside visiting BR Standard 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80078 on the 17th & 18th of February before returning home to the Great Central Railway.

Serial number: 2873 Delivered to the Donetsk Railway. In 1941 it was towed onto the Ryazan-Ural railway. During the Great Patriotic War he was part of ORKP No. 10. Since the mid-40s, the Donetsk Railway. Transferred to the “October” depot in 1975, decommissioned in 1976. During the Second World War, the locomotive drove the train with the captured Field Marshal Paulus and his officers from Stalingrad (from Ilovlya station). Installed in the “October” depot in 1975.

The ex Southern Railway Bulleid Battle of Britain Class Light Pacific No. 34070 "Manston" is going on a short term loan to the Mid Hants Railway (Watercress Line) for a few months as the locomotive is being used as extra motive power over the Christmas season there and will stay until Easter 2024 before returning home to the Swanage Railway for the summer season then.

Delivered to the Odessa-Kishinev railway line. Since 1956 Odessa Railway. 1967 - 1969 was registered at the Mukachevo depot (Lviv Railway). 1969 - 1974 transferred to the Odessa Railway. 1993 - 2000 Heating locomotive in a paint and varnish factory (Odessa region). Sold to Southern Railway for scrap price in 2013. Restored to operational condition again in 2014.
