Before 1943, this machine belonged to the Établissements Basseux in Armentières (North). Subsequently acquired by the Société des schistes et grès d Eperin in Béthune (Pas-de-Calais) and sold in 1950 to the Céramiques de Beugin-la-Comté factories in La Comté (Pas-de-Calais). It was subsequently purchased by Jean Chapotel and then made available to CF du Creusot, who restored the locomotive from September 1985 to January 1987. In 1991 it was stored in Noisy. Purchased from Chemin de Fer des Chanteraines in 2001.
