So, when it the earliest date she will be back?  The C&TS really got slammed by this engine issue.

Locomotive is still inoperable but is stored fully intact in the Chama roundhouse awaiting its turn to be overhauled after the 489 and 463.

Traded to the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad in 1992 for smaller K-36 # 482 that was derlict  at the time.  497 had been causing rail wear on the D&SNG since it had been put into service in 1984.  Non-opperational in 2003 for needed repairs that may come in a few years.
