DEAR SIR MY FATHER, WARREN H. LAYTON WAS A LOCOMOTIVE ENGINEER FOR THE S.P. LINE FROM ALTURAS CA. TO SPARKS NV. ALSO TO LAKEVIEW OR. HIS R.R. CAREER STARTED ON THE NARROW GAGE (N.C.O). HE MIGHT HAVE RAN THE 2718??? I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT. ANY INFO YOU CAN PROVIDE IS CERTAINLY APPRECIATED.
