#8 has been stored at the Wiscasset, Waterville, and Farmington Ry’s Roundhouse in Alna, ME for several years, as MNG no longer has proper dry storage or enginehouse facilities. 8 is owned by MNG, but cared for by (and will eventually operate at) WW&F, after an eventual restoration from Maine Locomotive & Machine works.

Reported now stored at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum located in Portland.

Bridgton & Saco River #8 is still at the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad but is now stored and in need of minor repairs but lack of funds keep #8 from opperating

Bridgton & Harrison #8 was built in 1924 for the Bridgton & Saco River Railroad. She was the last two foot gauge steam locomotive built for American use. The B&H closed in 1941 and the #8 was saved by Ellis D. Atwood of South Carver Mass. for use on his Edaville railroad. #7 operated for the same railroad.
