South Australian Railways F245 was withdrawn 1959 after travelling over one million miles. In 1960 it was put on display at Gawler station in the Adelaide suburbs. 1968 moved to Rotary Park, Gawler but returned to Gawler station in 2002 and displayed under an open shelter. The loco was built in Gawler, so it is fitting that its on show at its main station.
