Has recently been moved to Ohio for restoration. Not sure if its mechanical or cosmetic.

I have seen the ICRR #333 in May 1996, but recently, when passing through Baton Rouge LA, I noticed it was no longer there. On internet I found two links: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1990902 and http://www.icrr.net/ICsteam.htm, both stating the loc was transferred to Tioga LA, the latter stating that happened in March 2011. However on GE I cannot find information re the loc.

333 was moved from Baton Rouge to Tioga, LA (near Alexandria,LA) and is on static display at the Tioga Heritage Museum.

The passenger cars that were attached to this engine for years have been moved to Hammond, La. for restoration. One, the Montecello diner car, will be put back on the rails. Not sure of status of engine, put it does appear to have been "lubed" and pushed back about twenty feet on the rails at the museum. Will post more info as it becomes available.
