Bought in 1916 by the Garden City Sugar and Land Company. In 1946, the company bought a diesel, but the engineers felt it was under powered. So they used “Two Bits” for 6 more years until it was worn out. It was retired in 1952. It hauled sugar beets to the sugar factory.

#25 was converted to burn oil sometime in the 1930's.  As a condition for display, boiler was gutted out & the stack was capped.  Condition now is boiler jacket gone, all thin sheet metal rusting through, & cab in poor condition.
