This engine operated in Westport, Indiana over the west end of the Milw. RR branch that connected with the NYC. It was featured in the Saturday Magazine of the Cincinnati Post newspaper on May 29,1971: "In April 1962 the Indiana Railway Museum acquired about 2 miles of the right-of-way. In April 1962 they purchased Car #318 abandoned by the Chicago, Aurora & Elgin and a 1936 Baldwin from the Indiana & Ohio Gravel & Stone Co in greencastle, Ind. It was tested and began making regular runs in the summer of 1962 with Car no. 318 proudly in tow." Price per ticket was $1.25 and 75 cents for children. When Penn Central abandoned the line between Greensburg and Westport, Ind. the operation was moved to just north of Greensburg on another former NYC branch. Not sure of the year they moved. Sad to see her in this conditon as I rode behind her every summer.
