'Eddystone' is presently on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, but was stopped in June with slipped tyres on four of the drivers. Owners Southern Locomotives intend to use wheelsets from 34010 'Sidmouth' which is in unrestored condition at Sellinge, Kent, to deal with the problem. Ironically, 'Sidmouth' was also located on the NYMR for a while but was the subject of a dispute between the railway and its then owner. When this was finally resolved, 'Sidmouth' was sold to Southern Locomotives. The result of this is that 'Sidmouth's wheels will turn on the NYMR at last!
