The former War Department and NCB Polkemmet Colliery Hunslet built Austerity 0-6-0ST (Works No. 2880) (WD No. 75031) No. 17, has since left the Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway and is now located at Locomotive Maintenance Services at Loughborough in Leicestershire, where it is under restoration there.

From SRPS Steam Group website: Originally WD Long Marston COD/Longtown CAD. NCB No.17. Acquired from NCB Polkemmet Colliery, this locomotive is currently in store awaiting a major overhaul and is at present partially dismantled. There are no plans to restore this locomotive to operational use at the present time.
