There have been 2 separate attempts to get this locomotive out of its present location, and to its native area. The owner established a price, groups went in and raised the money, and went in with plans, only for the owner to raise the price at the last second.

Feb. 2020 Google Maps imagery shows all the locomotives are still on the property. Appears the property has also been cleaned up a bit.

Just looked at Google Maps. This engine, along with the other one, and all other equipment formerly at this location appears to no longer be there.

Does anyone know who owns this locomotive?

It appears the museum (Roosevelt Railroad) is defunct. The engine is sitting in the middle of the field alondg with another smaller steam engine.

This locomotive has never been in Riverdale nor Atlanta, Georgia. When it came to Georgia, it went straight to Griffin, Georgia, and it is still here.

The Texas & New Orleans No. 319, built by Cooke Locomotive and Machine Works, last worked for Vermillon Sugar Company No. 2. It's seemed out of placed for a classic steamer displaying the proud line of her Southern Pacific heritage. Following a series of inspections and brush removal. She was relocated to a new life in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999, in Riverdale but still in storage.
