The ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Class 21 Pug 0-4-0ST No. 11243, is making its first visit to the Severn Valley Railway for their Spring Steam Gala from the 16th to 19th of April 2026.

11243 has been confirmed as the third guest locomotive for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire railway Cotswold Festival of Steam on 12th-14th May. She will perform shunting demonstrations at Winchcombe station as well as some short passenger turns during the event.

As part of the centenary of the formation of the big four railway companies of the UK from 1923, the ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Class 21 Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 has been turned out in its LMS livery with her LMS Number No. 11243 for the 2023 season to mark 100 years of the formation of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway.

In 2023, the ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Class 21 Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 (No. 51241) will be visiting the Bluebell Railway for the first time to star at their Branch Line Weekend from the 21st to 23rd of April 2023.

The ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 is currently visiting the Ribble Steam Railway for their Autumn Steam Gala weekend on the 1st and 2nd of October 2022.

The overhaul on the ex Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 has now been completed and has been steamed for the first time in preservation for a number of years. No. 19 will soon be tested and ran in before entering service soon.

Restoration work on former Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 is now underway which will see the locomotive be returned to steam again for the first time in preservation.

The former Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 is now located at the East Lancashire Railway at Bury in Lancashire where it is in their shed there being dismantled for a feasible study for it to be returned to steam again.

The former Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Pug 0-4-0ST No. 19 has been temporarily relocated to the East Lancashire Railway at Bury to be in company of No. 51456 (752) there. No. 19 is to be done up temporarily in BR Livery carrying what would have been its British Railway number 51241 as part of a special line up at the East Lancashire Railway’s Spring Steam Gala from the 6th to the 8th of March 2020. No. 19 is also to be assisted for a possible overhaul to return her to steam as well.

pug 19 is a great loco but I am sad that it will be put in the rsr museum and not running
