The ex Zaklady Metalurgiczne Polish Tkh Class 0-6-0T No. 2944 "Hotspur", has been withdrawn from service having come to the end of its boier ticket at the begging of 2024, and is now awaiting overhaul.

May 19th Delivered to metallurgical plant in Myszków, then Malapanev steelworks in Ozimek (no specific date) / 07/1997 sold to Spa Valley Railway, Great Britain / 03/2000 Commissioning after a major repair / Brought to Churnet Valley Railroad in late 2013/ Put into operation in May 2014 after major repairs

Following some repair work carried out, the ex Zaklady Metalurgiczne Polish Tkh Class 0-6-0T No. 2944 "Hotspur" has returned to traffic at the Churnet Valley Railway in time for the rest of the summer season.

The Polish Tkh Tank loco "Hotspur" is currently undergoing an intermediate overhaul and will be back in service in October in time for the Churnet Valley Railway s 25th Anniversary Gala that month.
