NO.9 was rebuilt by my GRANDFATHER W MELVIN BOLDING of LIBERTY SC IN 1961 AND 1962. MY GRANDFATHER WAS THE ASST SUPERINTENDENT AND MASTER MECHANIC FOR THE CAMPBELL LIMESTONE CO. FROM 1933 TILL 1968 WHEN VULCAN MATERIALS PURCHASED THE BEVERLY QUARRY. I AM THE ONLY REMAING PERSON FROM THE CAMPBELL LIMESTONE DAYS THAT RAN AND FIRED THE ENGINE. RS CAMPBELL AND HIS WIFE BETSY WERE PERSONAL FRIENDS OF MINE. I HAVE ALOT OF PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FROM THOSE DAYS. I AM A EXPERT ON NO.9 AND CAN TELL ANYONE ANY INFORMATION THEY WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. I GREW UP WITH THAT ENGINE AND ITS ALMOST LIKE A PART OF MY FAMILY. THANKS ALOT JONATHAN T BOLDING

No. 9 has been repainted into its Campbell Limestone green paint scheme. She looks great.
