Faithful replica of an LNWR George the Fifth Class locomotive. Currently under final assembly at Crewe Heritage Center (53.093712° -2.436129°). The Trust approached the Duke of Cambridge and Duchess of Cambridge about naming their locomotive after their newborn son, Prince George. The Duke and Duchess agreed, and the locomotive was given the number “2013,” the year of his birth. It will cost around £2 million to complete Prince George.
