VR A986 was withdrawn in 1964. Displayed at a Park in Warragul until 1986 then moved to Steamrail workshops and dismantled. A lot of hard work & 30 years saw her steamed again. Her first revenue earning run was on 26th May 2017 when it was booked for a weekend steam tour at Ballarat with Y112. So took a train load of people from Newport to Ballarat.
