I bought a watercolor painting of No. 318 at an estate sale today for a mere $5.00! The artist is Virgil Colvin. He signed the picture in December 1971. So happy to have found info on 318. I will have to drive over the mountains and see it in person.

I saw this locomotive in the roundhouse and it looks amazing, all that it left to be worked on is the tender.

currently next in line for restoration after 346 was saved by an ohio buisnesman after retierment in the 1940's
