The 5ft gauge former Finish State Railways, Tr1 2-8-2 No. 1060, has been put up for sale by the family of the late David Buck to see it go to a new home for future preservation.

The big 2-8-2 Finnish Loco No. 1060 has been moved to Fengate Farm at Weeting in Norfolk on long term loan. Where it will be a big part at the Weeting Steam Rally and there are plans to restore it to working order.

This locomotive was donated to the new owner of the Epping Ongar Railway by one of the previous shareholders in ~2009. In 2012 it was announced in the press that the new owner intends to sell it for scrap unless a buyer is found within a fairly short time. Offers have been already been rejected as derisory, therefore its future looks doubtful. (source Heritage Railway magazine)
