The loco was originally built as a 2-6-2 by Guest Engineering in 1964 with an internal diesel engine and called "Tracey Jo". It was later rebuilt as a steam engine and converted to a 2-6-4T in 1992 by Winson Engineering. The loco is currently (2008) painted Caledonian sky blue.
