The CP 1201 is stored in the Ingenium collection. The CP 1201 was moved to the new ingenium building in 2019. The last time CP was operational was in 1990, she is in storage since then.

National Museum of Science & Technology in back of museum this engine sits in a shed I believe still. It was the last steam engine built in Canada at the Angus Shops in Montreal Canada. It was due to be scrapped in 1962 but sat for a few more years until it was given to the Federal Government in 1966.

My name is Anthony Raynes and just out of interest sake, I would just share that my grandfather Edison Raynes was one of the fortunate ones who had opportunity to be the head engineer on this very engine for a number of years in the province of N.B. and other places as well. When C.N.R. had its, I think 125th birthday the engine had been brought down home here to Saint John out of the museum in Ottawa for the celebration where he was able to run the 1201 again after many years of separation from this great piece of Canadian history.
