with the museum having multiple ongoing projects, and the size and condition of this locomotive, it seems very unlikely it will be restored in the near future. Maybe after the Chloe and Emma Nevada are finished there might be a cosmetic job.

could possibly be moved indoors for cosmetic restoration

Believe it or not, the Orange Empire Railway Museum hopes to restore this locomotive. Problem is, they lack a proper facility to work on a locomotive this big. Keep your fingers crossed.

The "Alco-Brooks Construction Number List" indicates that Construction Numbers 62872 through 62881, Road Numbers 3716 through 3725, were shipped to the "Los Angeles & Salt Lake" during February of 1921. All of the units were 2-8-2's with a "Specified" total weight of 302,000 pounds (This is not necessarily the "Actual" total weight).
