Some more info, now operational again No. 3655 will be relocated to Ceres Rail at their base at Witzenberg in the Westerncape where it will return to use on mainline trips with them.

Having been in storage at Cape Town Station for a number of years now the former South African Railways Class 24 2-8-4 No. 3655 has been put back into steam again following an overhaul that was carried out on site by Wonder Steam Trains Pty Ltd. No. 3655 is noew operational again and will move under its own steam along the mainline again to Wonder Steam Trains Pty Ltd. engineeing base at Pretoria.

Having been on lease to Atlantic Rail for several years South African Railways Class 24 2-8-4 No. 3655 has undergone a overhaul at Voorbaai which has seen been converted to oil fired. No. 3655 has become a new addiction to Ceres Rail and has relocated to there base at Witzenberg in the Westerncape.
