No. 3511 "Frieda" is one of only 3 SAR Class 25 4-8-4 locomotives to survived that were never converted to non-condensing left in South Africa today. The locomotive is under restoration by the Steamnet 2000 Preservation Group at there base at the former steam depot at Beaconsfield, Kimberley.
